El Peñón during winter season »

With Rudy

Rudy Gotes «rudy» writes:

Autumn and Winter are great to fly in Valle de Bravo. We have perfect flying conditions and El Peñón is one of the most consistent sites in the world. I realized that after traveling to different locations for hang gliding competitions. El Peñón is flyable every day and the wind direction is always good. If you want to escape the cold winter and experience a week or two of great flying, then you should book  our tailored hang gliding tours.

Our tours run from November through March. It doesn't matter if you are Hang Two, or an advanced pilot, you will make the most of this site. You will do air time fly two to three times a day, practice your thermaling technique, do small or big tasks or go XC. You can also enjoy the good food and beer at the landing area, where you can share your experiences with the rest of pilots that visit us from all over the world. After flying, Valle de Bravo’s town is worth visiting and walking through its cobble-stoned alleys. There are great restaurants to eat at, and it is not expensive.

I would like to invite you to come and do a tour with us. You can learn more at: https://vuelolibre.mx/en/tour/hang-gliding-tours/ or come to the Peñón Classic Race 2020.
