May 7-13 at Francisco Grande golf resort just west of Casa Grande, Arizona.  I have just secured the location and am aiming to make this a USHPA sanctioned points meet.  I know it's last minute, but you will love the place we're flying out of.  Set up and breakdown on the fairway and tie down your equipment over night on the grass.  Pool, restaurant, golf course, hotel, airstrip, all in one.

The meet will be limited to twenty four pilots, early registration available for top pilots.  I'm considering opening up a few more slots if the need arises.  Official notice and registration information will be on the Oz Report soon.  Tentative cost including towing for the week and dinner on the final night will be $400.  Open to flex and rigid wings.  Profits beyond organization and meet costs will go toward the US National team expenses this August.  Email me with any questions.  Hope to see you all there, you're in for some epic flatland/mountain racing!

A select crew N28 31.982 , W081 50.800 , Quest Air(Quest Air)

Jamie SheldenJamie Shelden <jamie> writes:

We're gearing up here at Quest for the Flytec Championship and as usual we rely on volunteers to help out with everything from ground crew, to traffic control, to food service, etc.  We have found that the event has become so popular that we end up with quite a few more volunteers than we need.  With that in mind, we will be having a designated volunteer staff that will be organized well in advance of the first competition day.

We are accepting only a limited number of people, so if you were planning on showing up to volunteer, please email me at <jamie> as soon as possible.  We will be putting together the designated crew within the next few weeks.  Even if you have come every year and are sure we know you're coming, please let us know again.

Because of the large number of competitors and the workload put on our tug pilots and ground crew, only the designated volunteer staff will be allowed to free fly after competitors launch.
