The following is a picture taken of camels in the desert.  It is considered one of the best pictures of the year (2005).  Look closely, the camels are the little white lines in the picture.  The black you see is just the shadows!

The Deni Comp, Deniliquin, Australia, 27th to 2nd Jan.  With 27th being a practice day and the 3rd an open distance day.  Forbes starts on the 3rd, so we are scoring only to the 2nd.

This is a social event with seriously fun flying.  Open to Ground Tow of all levels of experience, and Aero Tow teams.  With Open, Kingpost and floater courses and trophies.  The trophies are unique to this comp, and reflect some of the local activities.  Also social breakfasts and dinners to encourage everyone to gather together, to chat, and learn from each other.  Some surprises may also be in store.  It might even surprise the organizers!

Check out the web site for details and on-line entry at www.sensair.com/hanggliding/denicomp or contact: Peter Lissenburg on 61 (0)3 5962 9371, or <peter>.
