Gregg's going to put it on his glider 30.436834,-95.596161,Lake Conroe, TX(Lake Conroe, TX)

I expect to place an order for a new Wills Wing Falcon Tandem to be used at Lake Shore Hang Gliding.  I had planned on using the same logo that is on our new Falcon 3 195 but thought it might be an even better idea to use the ushpa logo as part of the marketing program.

The log would read: USHPA.AERO in large letters on one side of the wing.

The glider flies mostly at lake venues where it is seen by all the crowds of young people out boating.  We get a lot of inquiries as it appears much more fun than tubing.

The glider will also be flown at the Big Spring world event next August and will also be seen at Wallaby in April.

Just an idea here, let me know what you think.  I need to get the order in by 17 November, but would likely have until the end of November to make any changes.

See a few pictures at http://hhga.org/Flying_sites/Lake_Conroe/index.htm.

The logo would cost $425.

When visiting (being dragged, actually) through the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.  a few weeks ago, I came upon a huge suspended scripture in the lobby.  It was created by American artist Calder, who died before giving it a name, so I call it the “History of Hang Gliders.”

Check it out!

Killed tugging at Kevin Dutt's 37 57 9.42 N, 121 39 19.46 W, Kevin Dutt s front yard(Kevin Dutt s front yard)

Article here.

Daleo's open-cockpit Moyes Dragonfly experienced undiagnosed trouble during takeoff from a private airstrip in the area and crashed into a field at 12:35 p.m.  near Sunset Road and Eden Plains Road in the unincorporated town of Knightsen, a Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman said.

Previous article in the Oz Report on being towed by Steve at Kevin's.

Ken Brown writes:

On Saturday the 28th of October, Steve wheeled Kevin's Dragonfly out of the hanger and was going to take it for the first flight before towing for the day.  He had had numerous flights on the plane.  He had a low speed hop/bounce take-off and then a full power shallow climb out to 100' approx where he then dove straight into the ground at full throttle.  Killed instantly.

Kevin reported that after the hop/bounce that he observed Steve waiving his left/throttle hand and moving around in the seat.

The wreckage was taken away by the local sheriffs office.  Rehtt is in the area and will possibly have a chance to check the wreckage this weekend.
