Looking for places to visit, to fly at, and to write about. Tell
us where we should go.
(Sparks, NV)
We are currently in Sparks, Nevada, but on Wednesday (September
27th) head for Auburn, near Kenny Brown (Moyes USA) and Sacramento for the
weekend (September 30-October 1st). I will be looking for places to fly.
Over the next week (starting October 2nd) and weekend (5th through the 8th) we
will be in Alameda (near Oakland) attending the USHPA BOD meeting at the San Francisco International Airport. So it looks like flying is out then.
How about October 21st and 22nd? And October 28th and 29th? How about
Santa Barbara? Is that a good time of the year for Santa Barbara. I've never
flown there.
In November and December we will be staying in an RV park in Cathedral City
which is right next to Palm Springs (but much cheaper). The nearby site (Vista Point) is still not open. I could drive to Marshall and Crestline, of course,
but I usually find the cost/benefit ratio a bit too high when I consider driving
on the southern California freeways.
